UMBILICUS-PATH OF 1000 SUNS

This a supergroup formed by members of Cannibal corpse (Paul Mazurkiewicz), Decide (Taylor Nordberg), Fore (Brian Stephenson) and Anarchus (Vernon Blake). This refreshing album sounds like it was meant to come out in the 60's or 70's with sounds like Black sabbath, Boston and hints of progressive elements heard in the early rush records. it is amazing to see these guys get together and create something that sounds amazing. I have been listening to the prerelease songs that are available and have already pre ordered the album. This album should be on every rock and metal fans playlist. 10/10

SUNDROWNED-BECOME ETHERAL

Hailing from the west coast of Norway SUNDROWED is a post metal band that thrives and bringing a massive atmospheric sound to their album. it is an interesting listen to me it feels like it should be surrounded by a 50-piece orchestra. is almost a cross between classical and metal with that dark tone that black metal provides. i am really looking forward to following their career as it is just getting started. 6/10

FIRE TOOLZ-ETERNAL HOME (INSTRUMENTAL)

This is probably the most interesting record that i have listened to this week. I can't really explain what it sounds like because it is mostly electronic with black metal drums and crazy combination of different sounds the only thing i can say is for everyone to experience this for themselves. 5/10

TYLER BYRANT & THE SHAKEDOWN- SHAKE THE ROOTS

If this album opening track (bare bones) does not want to make you groove and dance till you can't anymore you must be dead. This album provides all the great elements of southern rock. TYLER BYRANT & THE SHAKEDOWN once again hit it out of the park with this record honestly there is not a bad song on the album it makes me feel like I am on an air boat cruising through the Louisiana marsh. as we get deeper into the album Tyler Bryant channels what can only be called is inner molly hatchet with the song (off the rails) the guitar riff driven song makes you want to get in your car and drive as fast as you can. I could go on forever about how great this album and Tyler Bryant guitar playing is as always, a treasure to your ears. I digress and will let you experience this amazing album for yourself. 10/10!!

LIVING WRECKAGE- SELF TILTED ALBUM

Living wreckage debut album is a hard-hitting album with elements of thrash and 90's hard rock. this band needs to be put to 11 when listening to this album from songs like breaking point which provides a well-balanced vocal and extreme guitar solos to the heart ponding mosh starting song like mark the days which to me just makes you want to jump in the pit and headbang till you can't anymore. 8/10
