CLUCTH- SUNRISE ON SLAUGHTER BEACH

I was introduced to clutch when I was 13 by my uncle this hard rock band from the 90's has evolved with the times having released 13 albums over the last 30 years, they show no sign of slowing down. With slaughter on sunrise beach being the latest album it provides the classic clutch sound and tones from heavy breaks to sludge like guitar riffs that melt your face. Personally, some of my Favorite songs on the album are red alert (boss metal zone) and mercy brown which provides a cool driving drum grove with atmospheric guitar tones that make you feel like you're in a sci movie and the always impeccable vocals that make this album a great listen cover to cover. 9/10

KILL THE KONG-DEAD SPIRIT

Kill The Kong from their bio "Hailing from the harsh lands of Sweden, Kill the Kong is a seven-man strong metal/hardcore outfit formed in 2015". They pride themselves on being an amazing live band with insane energy and crowd interaction. they latest album dead spirit is the perfect heavy record that would make anyone want to jump up and get into the pit. i personally love the track silhouettes it has a vocal that stands above the rest with nice clean break chorus it feels like the band really has discovered their tone with the breakdowns in this song are something Satan himself would headbang to. Don't sleep on this band go get the album, I am hopeful they will make the trek across the pond to north America soon. 7/10

ORBBIT CULTURE ODYSSEY

I could have down the whole blog on orbit culture in my opinion there is not a single bad song they have ever recorded. This is their first album, and it is so heavy I love everything about it from the title track to the last song this group is something that I will definitely be listening to for the rest of my life if you haven't already check them out it's even better live. 10/10

LAMB OF GOD-OMENS

Lamb of God provides us with might just be another classic metal album. What I find interning about this album is stays true to the roots of Lamb of God, but the messaging provided in this album really speaks to the state of humanity of late. with this seemingly endless amount of pent-up hate that is building inside of everyone it seems that Lamb of God have given us an album that musically express that rage that humanity is feeling. this album provides extremely heavy guitar riffs with my favorite track on the album being grayscale go listen to this great album. 7/10

RELIQA-I DONT KNOW WHAT I AM EP

this is a new band i discovered this week that has very unique sound from clean vocal choruses and extreme growl vocals on the song safety this band has a similar sound to Canada's spirit box with heavy guitar riffs large atmospheric drums i am interested to see what else this band can come up within the future. hopefully they will lead more to the progressive side of their talent because I feel this could be a very unique band. 6/10
